Always remember that you are a Cairn or Westie. You are the toughest, baddest dog on the block. So, walk with your head and tail held high. Don't forget to get all the kisses and cuddles from your humans. Only when you want them of course! You do have an image to uphold. If they bend down to get a kiss, turn your head. But a few minutes later, jump on them with an attack of kisses! Most of all, guard your backyard. Keep it free from all squirrels, rodents, unknown cats, and birds(especially big black ones). Bark and chase all of above out of yard. Cairns and Westies should strive to have a rodent free backyard. After all, it's what we were bred for..
