Should have been named "Mission of the Turtle Race". This movie was truly one of the slowest ones I have seen in a long time. I find it a shame that such a star studded cast would be wasted on such a movie.
If you see this one, don't do as I did, whereas eating my chinese buffet before the movie, I also loaded up on a few diet cokes. With pulsing caffine surging through my body, spitting chocolate covered peanuts in the the hair of the Marge Simpson of Virginia seemed to be much more fun. My rating.. is simply... stay on the couch... you'll need to be comfortable for your nap.
I waited for the hype to go away, the lines to slim down, and the country become what it was once before this movie came out... oh wait... that was the star wars movie... But this movie did pretty good for hype. I was told just to expect an action movie and I'd enjoy it. Of course I was thinking it was from John Woo, what else are ya gonna get?
Mr. Cruise seems to have earned his money for this one, some nice moves in this one. It reminds me of Tom meets Mortal Kombat, perhaps he'll be in the next Kombat movie...heh
Go have a gander, don't expect the greatest movie you've ever seen, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it...

Is there not a movie where Tom is running to or from something? Oh wait... He couldn't get them legs movin in Born on the Fourth of July... (actully Tom was born on the 3rd of July... but details...details)
Set in the future of a time that paranoid nuts like me fear, where they can track you nearly everywhere you go... I could rant on this for a long long time, but I won't... (least I'll try not to). Yeah, well, back to the movie. It was kinda a neat story line with a interesting way of being a cop (and with some neat toys too). Be fore-warned though, this film is rather odd. Believe you me, I have an 'eye' for seeing this kinda thing.....
The dark photography is the only downfall to this movie. They tried to set the mood too dark and it doesn't really jive with the movie. With all it's neat effects, the dark way it's presented takes away from it.
This 'who dun it' movie is based on the old time theological question.... free choice or fate?
