Final Destination                               2 and Half Jer Stars
So, there i was, sitting in the movie theatre, learning from the slides that Jessica Tandy was the oldest person, at the age of 83, to win an Oscar Award.  After seeing the trailors for this movie, I was sort of excited to see it.  But my anticipation was handicapped by a blurry spot at the bottom right hand side of the screen.  Fearing that it would be there during the movie, I went to see a manager.  She was really kind as I explained the problem.  Then suddenly she slowly reached over, pulled my glasses off, wiped them off and placed them back.  Wouldn't you know... the blurry spot was gone.
Hmmm... where was I... oh the movie... yes well... It was an interesting concept, but not really original.   The suspense was good, and a few places have you jump in your seat.  Not the type of movie you'd bring a first date on, unless you are part of the Scream Family.  Hopefully there won't be the sequels.

The computer animiation in this movie is unreal.  Looking at something that nearly looks so life like, you forget sometimes they aren't actual people.
The story line was pretty good, but slows down from time to time for the romantic scenes (eyeroll).
I say you'll probably be lost in the first 5 minutes, you just have let the movie develop itself.  To me, it was well worth my money.

A good father and son, and also a good time dimensional movie.  Makes you want to cheer the actors on during intense situations.  It's not really a 'who done it' movie either, so don't try second guessing everyone.  The movie will simply speak for itself.....

Get revved up and ready to go.  This movie rolls at an rate that you don't want to miss.
(Smile)  Yeah, all kinds of car puns could go to this one.  I saw the previews and it didn't strike the interest nerve.  So, I waited for the DVD.  I was surprised.  It didn't turn out to be a bad movie at all.  The plot is something similar to "Point Break", except instead of surf boards, you have cars that go past 140 mph.
Vin Diesel has a strong presence about him.  I expect we'll see more of this guy in the future.
Rent it, turn up the volume, buckle your couch belts, and have a hellva time...
