History: Gunthyrr Dragondancer was a young warrior from Stormwind who
answered the call to defend the kingdom while her armies were away. He worked his way up through the ranks and
was soon called to Kalimdor to help the Night Elves defend their lands from
Horde intrusion in Warsong Gulch.
After serving a tour of duty there, Gunthyrr decided to stay closer to
home & defend the human lands from the troubles that plagued them. During the recent Scourge Invasion, he was
taken and his will was subverted by the Lich King and was made a Death
Knight. When the Knights of the Ebon
Hand broke free from the Lich King, Gunthyrr was among them. While under the Lich King’s sway, he had
done terrible things that sickened his stomach, and his new nature as a Death
Knight has irrevocably altered him. He
returned to Stormwind briefly to swear his fealty to King Varian Wyrnn once
more, but his initial reception in Stormwind disheartened him. He left Stormwind & made his way to the
Dark Portal, heading to Outland to discover himself…or die trying. |

Personality: Gunthyrr used to be a carefree warrior, who enjoyed
the rush of adrenaline when the battle was joined. Yet, it was a soul that was tempered by a
soft side, as he also enjoyed picking flowers & enjoying nature. Since becoming a Death Knight, the softer
side of him eludes him, as now he just sees death, decay, &
darkness. He had joined the Sojin to
hunt the darkness, yet he feels he has become that darkness & feels
guilty being reaccepted into the Sojin.
He struggles to find a balance between who he is now & the man he
was and hopes to be again. |
