| Jiga: On the surface, "Trance N Roll" is a combination of Psy-Trance and Rock N Roll. On a deeper listen, it's an album with a LIVE feel. Less digitized and repetitive, more Organic with some surprising twists and directions. This album takes Trance out of the "Oh i forgot my computer running for 7 hours"; scheme, and puts the attention on the music, not only on the beat. |
| Jinno: The idea of "Trance N Roll" was born 2 years ago. we decided that we want to make our next album something different, fresh and new. Our main attention was the LIVE aspect, trying not to use much samples and record live instruments in our studio. We recorded Electric and Acoustic Guitars, bass, Cello, Vocals and so on. We also experimented in combining different genres into the structures of Psychedelic Trance; like reggae, punk, rock and even Indian music .it was not easy but it was a lot of fun. |
| Jiga: one message is expressed in "Psycho Punko" where we refer to the music-copy issue. We say in that track ..."you can rip this album to MP3 / if you don't have the money/but don't forget to make promotion for me/ cosi don't have the money..." It's a humorous way to say that although we are interested in album sales, we accept music-copy as a natural evolution of the modern world. there are other ways people can contribute back to us if they copy our music, like making some promotion to the album and coming to our live-shows. Jinno: another message we convey is a referral to the growing violence and terror in the world. in the track "Future" we say - :"we are the world, we are future". Our generation IS the world; sometimes we forget it and we think the world is governments, religions and money-making corporations. |
| 4. What can you say to give us the desire to listen it? |
| Jiga: Think about a collision between Full-on Psy trance with King Crimson, Bob Marley and the dead Kennedys. if you want to listen to something different than the formulated regular trance -� this album is for you. |
| 5. What are your projects for the future? |
| Jiga: next album will be released at the end of this year and is in the making right now. we take street-musicians who play various instruments and record them jamming on our beats. Jinno: in the coming months we will play this album live all over the world, and continue to develop our own record label - AP Records, Releasing compilations and promoting other artists. |
