After large success in the past year (concert report from Berlin Gospel Web) Fleeting Glance organizes also 2002 again a Christmas of the cultures .
With this unusual Adventskonzert of Berlin celebrates oldest jazz choir in this year at the same time its 15jaehriges existence.

Again our concert is located in the indication of the cultural meeting: The popular Argentine composer Ariel Ramirez tells history in its Navidad Nuestra of the birth Christi on the basis of an authentic, traditionally Latin American music language. Further South American composers, of Astor Piazzolla up to Carlo Guastavino, represent their continent in the first part of the concert, but also "guests" like Kurt Weill make their contribution. The second program section is dedicated to the "black" church music of North America and connects Duke Ellingtons Sacred Concerts with Gospel arrangements different well-known Arrangeure.

Also on the stage the continents meet: The brought in Argentine duo José CIB ILS and Patrick Zeoli meets with Bernd Rathmeyer and Michael Waterstradt well-known sizes of the citizens of Berlin jazz scene; as Solisten Fleeting Glance presents de la Paz Zaens in this year Jonathan. The bass native of the Philippines is graduate of the university of the arts (now UdK) as well as winners of the international Sylvia Geszty Gesangswettbewerbs; it lives as free lance artists in Berlin and is regular in productions of different opera stages (contemporary opera Berlin, new opera stage, Neukoellner opera, citizen of Berlin chamber opera etc.; 2002 e.g.. to hear in the portion of the father in stick living MICHAELs YOUTH in the house of the citizens of Berlin of festivals) as well as Oratoriensaenger.
