C and J bullets consist of a hard alloy metal which has a hardness of Saeco #9 (lino-type is Saeco #10). These bullets are lubricated in a three-stage process. First these bullets are coated with a clear dry lubricant. They are then sized/lubed in a standard lubrisizer, and then coated in a light powder coating of Mica. Mica helps to prevent the bullets from sticking together during shipping and also acts as a lubricant. Another added feature of Mica allows the bullets for easier seating in the case. Due to this process, the bullets have very little if any leading at all. Besides being lubed with commercial bullet lube, I also add a substantial amount of molybdenum-disulphide into the lube. I have used this process for years and have had no complaints about leading, in literally millions of bullets.
