Q.
How
do I get started sending my support through NAMB?
A. After making a decision to support a MSC missionary, it is
important to obtain their MSC ID number (called a MIDAS number) so that you can
indicate it on your check. This will
ensure that your gifts are credited to that specific missionary.
Q. Where do I send the check and how should it be made out?
A. Funds can be made out to NAMB, with the MIDAS number indicated on
the check note/memo section. Mail your check to NAMB, P.O. Box 116543,
Atlanta, GA 30368-6543 (unless you have
made arrangements with the MSC missionary to send your funds to another
ministry entity)
Q. What record/receipt do I receive and how often?
A. A receipts is mailed each time you send a gift to NAMB unless your gift is less than $250 and you
indicate that you would prefer a yearly statement only.
Q. Can donors give through VISA/MasterCard?
A. NAMB is in the process of setting up a system to accept Visa
contributions, both by phone and via our Website.
Q. Do donors receive a year-end tax statement?
A. Year-end statements are sent
to all donors who give a total of $250 or more during the fiscal year. This statement will include the total amount
given for the year. Individual receipts
should be kept as further documentation, particularly for individual gifts
totaling $250 or more.
