Let It Always be Sunshine!

The "Let It Always Be Sunshine" exhibition started its journey over the countries of the former USSR in October 2003. This exhibition is devoted to the memory of teenagers killed by Arabic terrorist at the entrance to the "Dolphi" disco in Tel Aviv, at night of June 1, 2001.

In the organizers' concept, this exhibition should serve as a training aid of a kind for those people, who see in the word "terror" just the pain of somebody else.

The photos of the perishes kids from their parents' archives, their expressions, their drawings, as well as the drawings of young Israelis provide a basis for the exhibition.

The unfinished rose drawn by one of the Nalimovs sisters, 15-year-old Yulia - became a symbol of the exhibition. Yulia wrote in her diary: "This is a rose from our garden. I haven't managed to finish it today. I'll finish it tomorrow".

Our kids haven't managed to finish their singing, their dancing, their painting. Let the kids all over the world manage to do whatever our kids didn't, as they were deprived of opportunity to grow up.

For 8 months, the exhibition was shown in the cities of Ukraine - Kiev, Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk. On may 6 it was opened in Kishinev, timed to the Days of Israeli culture in Moldova.

By current tradition, the children who came to the exhibition, add their drawings to its fund, and become the immediate participants of the exposition. In the drawings of the Israeli kids and guests, the birds are singing, the butterflies are flying, sun is laughing. Life goes on! The kids want to live! And this depends on their fathers and mothers - to save their kids' lives.

Let it always be Sunshine!

The author of the exhibition
