I left CO for a weekend to spend some time with my girlfriend Jen who lives in Houston. We did some tubing down the Guadalupe River outside of Austin and had a blast once we were numb (from the cold, not the alcohol).
The rapids weren't very treacherous but we had a nice bumpy ride.
We had a nice long pizza dinner and sat out in the Austin air - it was a great time of year to be there. We did some spelunking at Enchanted Rock and found ourselves in some very tight spaces and without a headlamp. Luckily we were saved by another group with a pen light!
Here we are in a few other tight spaces.
We weren't able to do any rock climbing so we made up our own version. We had a great weekend and it was nice to get away!
