Avelyn's latest playplace is our drawer which contains our kitchen towels. She gets a kick out of dragging them out and draping them over her chair and on the stairs and twirling them in the air!
She still loves to swim - we got her a one piece bathing suit and she loves to wander around the wading pool.
We went back to the mall to climb on the breakfast foods again - Avelyn is in pink and liked climbing on the french toast and sliding down the bacon without help!
We were recently back east for a quick trip and mom got out our old Fisher Price garage and Avi had a good time playing with it. Some things never lose their fun potential!
She had a fun time exploring grammy's stair case too!
Don't tell my great-grandpa but I stole the key to his scooter and grammy took me for a ride!!!
You can't say she isn't daring - she went head first down the slide without even batting an eye!! This cool fun area is at Logan Airport in Terminal A so if you're ever passing through Boston check it out!!
Avelyn helped decorate the Christmas tree and now she likes to "help" undecorate it! My mom came back to CO with us for a week and we made and decorated a gingerbread house from scratch - just like the old days!
We joined the Denver Children's museum so we go at least once a month. Here she is climbing up the "anthill". She climbed on to a chair there and grabbed a pencil and started to draw like the big kids - will she be left-handed???
She absolutely loves birds so we spent about 20 minutes watching the bird feeder outside this window - her eyes always light up when she sees them flying in the sky!
