There are just 100 minutes until I go see the film "Amelie"! I am looking forward to it with much excitement!

Go see the film "Le fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulin" or, as it is known in the UK "Amelie from Montmartre". It is my kind of wonderful. It is my kind of Paris. . .and it features 'Le Pont Neuf', my very favourite place!!!
Friday 26th
Oh today was a GOOD day!!! Lovely Karen rang and has booked for us to go and see the HARRY POTTER movie 11am on the 11th November (11:11:01 @ 11am!) I am just a little too excited. . .so I'll refrain from writing anymore and making a fool out of myself!
Tuesday 23rd
Had a complete computer meltdown at the weekend! I turned the machine on at 10 o'clock Sunday am and I found myself in a strange place. . .otherwise known as computer hell! Much wailing and gnashing of teeth failed to find a solution to my problem, but with the help of a few friends things looked a little brighter by the end of Monday evening. I have lost things - but it serves me right for not having made a back up disk!
I turned two plates at pottery this afternoon - I think it might be my favourite part of all! I find throwing the 'things' so hair raising as I worry about them flying off or collapsing on me, and I have to be in the right frame of mind to paint them. . .but turning them, literally peeling away layers of clay and crafting the piece to it's final shape is fabulous fun!
I think I may have talked about pottery too much. . .I'm going to start re-installing all my software now, I predict hours of frustration!
Monday 15th
What's this? daily updates? I'm really spoiling you now! This evening I decided to phone for a yummy curry to be delivered - 20 minutes and no washing up ~ Worth every penny. I am going to pottery tomorrow afternoon, I hope that the two bowls and mugs that I painted last week will have been fired. I haven't really spoken about my pottery class here, my weekly therapy. I cannot explain it, but I just love eating and drinking from bowls and mugs that I have made with my own hands! Food just tastes better, drinks are more enjoyable. . .I think the reason that I don't talk about my pottery here is that it makes me sound so S.A.D! Saying that, I've posted some pictures of my creations for you to wonder over - you lucky, lucky people!!!

Sunday 14th
I spent ages experimenting with web design yesterday - and I am getting the hang of it, but so far I've only used it for the childminding site that I've created. Saying that, the childminding site looks good! Smeg, A and I are going to watch "Enigma" later followed by supper by Smeg, it should be a good evening.Saturday 13th
It's been a couple of weeks since I last wrote here - but I'm not going to play 'catch up'. I have been mostly avoiding the sensational news, plumping for fact rather than fiction...
I have also been trying to swot up on webdesign - but so far I've been too nervous to actually upload any of my 'creations'! I'm going to concentrate on it this weekend, so we'll see if anything exciting happens!
One good thing about dreamweaver is that it has built in code and spell checkers. . . .not that I need them of course - ahem!
There's a french feeling in the air - I'm waiting for the DVD of "Ca commence aujourd'hui" to arrive from France...and there's a magical French film called "Amelie de Monmatre" that I cannot wait to watch! I'm recommending it. . .even though there's still 2 weeks until it is on at the local cinema (the one and ONLY cinema in Chichester!)
