May. . .

sunday 26th
What a weekend! One of the dogs that I am looking after is really ill. She is still at the vet surgery. I spent the whole of saturday crying - looking after other people's lovely pets is such a responsibility!
Right, that's your lot - I've got to go back to the other dogs and to wait by the phone for news.

The Friday Five

1. What's the last vivid dream that you remember having?
Something about cooking

2. Do you have any recurring dreams?
I have had in the past

3. What's the scariest nightmare you've ever had?
I dreamt that my neighbour's slippers were evil! I was young, and it was a damn sacry nightmare - these slippers walked by themselves and had laser guns that burnt his eyes out!

4. Have you ever written your dreams down or considered it? Why or why not?
Yes I have. I have dreamt things that seem significant to my life - so I've written them down.

5. Have you ever had a lucid dream? What did you do in it?
I have had dreams when I am lucid - but I can't remember specifics. I woke up, but then went back to sleep to continue my dream.

sunday 19th
I've been reading "Fast Food Nation" - oh my god! It is mind blowing - the whole industry is so corrupt and wicked. . .and I'm not even going to talk about what goes into the food. Don't eat fast food - really, don't do it. . .though why do I feel that I am preaching to the converted?

Do eat chocolate. Chocolate is our friend ;o)

saturday 18th

Happy 30th Birthday Lisa!!!

wednesday 15th
Amelie and Harry Potter arrived on Saturday - and it took me until last night to work out how to watch the 'deleted scenes' on the H.P. DVD (thanks Karen!)
Apologies for lack of contact/updating - but I don't have 5 seconds to myself at the moment. . .my time is taken up with doggy chores!

saturday 11th
I am house/dog sitting again. . . .I am definitely a cat person!

sunday 5th
I went out for supper with Loose last night, and then to the cinema to see "about a boy". It was fantastic! Hugh Grant was so very funny - a real dish, and 'little' Nicholas Hoult was really, really good. And heck, Toni Collet was great too with a faultless english accent and perfect rendition of hippyesque Islington mother :o) Go and see it!

saturday 4th
There is a spring clean happening.
I can't say that I'm happy about it - but my ex-shoes have. . .gone. I loved these shoes, they served me well. . .until it rained and then my feet got wet!
I'll miss them during the fine weather though ;o)

shoe graveyard

dead shoes

Yay! It's a bank holiday weekend! An extra day off work. . .for free. And the sun has even been shining today - unusual for a bank holiday. I have been mostly visiting my friends and eating chocolate biscuits - it would have been impolite not to.

. . .Still no sign of my Amelie dvd!
