March. . .

Monday 31st
I went to see Amelie (again) this evening - at my lovely new cinema (again).

Saturday 29th
I am trying to think of something really productive to do today -
but for some stupid reason I can't leave my computer alone.
You know, this is a stupid freaking war.

Wednesday 26th
I went to the new cinema in town for the first time tonight! I've waited for a cinema for so long. It was big and new - and it was really odd. What I mean is, we used to eat lunch there on the school field - and now it's a cinema and I cannot think of anything I would rather have there.

However, there is a freaking MuckDonalds 'drive thru' where the swimming pool used to be - and that, my friends, is a travesty.

So, the film I went to see was 'Bowling for Columbine'. It was a brilliant, and incredibly uncomfortable film to watch. It was on for one night only, and the screen room was packed - which I was pleasantly surprised about. There was a nice polite guy handing out anti-war leaflets and badges. And this other young guy sat next to me and talked about stuff he was doing with the green party and about the anti-war demo in Chichester.

I am not going to say much more about the film, other than go and see it yourselves as I am curtailing my anger fuelled rant until I can find the necessary facts and figures to back up Michael Moore. But even if his statistics are wrong (which has been reported) it is still the most powerful film I have seen in a very long while.

Saturday 22nd
Look who came to visit!

Es and Lisa
There were picnics, books, vinyl records and lots of laughs!

Sunday 16th
I've been a little busy around here changing things around. What do you think? Did anyone notice? Feedback always welcome la guestbook.
Other than that, it has been an incredibly sunny weekend. Not that I've seen much of it - I've been a geeky tech head by sitting in front of the computer updating, uploading and generally keeping busy!

Friday 14th
I have half red hair - I'm raising money for Comic Relief by dying the bottom 3 inches of my hair BRIGHT red. I am actually rather liking said hair colour - it worked out better than I'd hoped. Hurrah for Comic Relief!

Sunday 2nd
I went for a walk at the museum this morning - while I was there Smeg rang & invited me to go with them for a lunch at a pub followd by a walk around Sidlesham and Pagham harbour. We had a great time, but it was so marshy and boggy that we got so incredibly muddy - I can't even begin to describe it! I also can't believe that we didn't take a picture of our trousers and walking boots afterwards. . .although my jeans are not in the washing machine yet, so there's still time!
