January
Friday 31st

I drove to the hills in search of the snow that is causing such misery throughout the country. . .I found some and it filled me with glee. But then I wasn't stuck behind a jack knifed lorry on a motorway that had not been gritted.
Thursday 30th

It snowed.
Not a whole lot, but it snowed.
Saturday 25th

Photo evidence that I've cleared out the roof sitting room.
It's done. La la la. All finished. What now?!!
Friday 24th
It's the end of the week. Long live the weekend! I am wondering what I'll be doing. . .seeing as the spring cleaning (clear out) is done and dusted!
After the mundane and irksome 'friday trip to the bank' and usual trawl through town (although I did find some great 10 jeans in the sales) I started the 'weekend proper' in St.Martins tea rooms with a 'Green&Blacks' organic hot chocolate and a read.
It was a fabulous chance to relax, before heading back through the traffic to collect my movie buddy Benjy (half my age, twice my intelligence!) to go & see 'Lord of The Rings - Two Towers'. . .except by the time we got there it was 'front rows only' and I didn't fancy sitting so close for 3+ hours. Instead we saw "About Schmidt" which was very good, made me cry and led to some deep conversation afterwards. . .which made me cry again! Poor Benj - but it serves him right for being taller than me now (and for looking like JD from Scrubs!!!)
Benjy & JD - have you ever seen them in the same room? I rest my case.
Wednesday 22nd
I can't believe that I haven't written here for over a week - I have been incredibly busy with my MEGA spring clean. . .which has paid dividends because I am finally TIDY! I can't remember if I took any 'before' photos, but I've got loads of 'during' and 'after' shots - I'll post them soon!
I had been trying to clear and sort everything out, but wasn't getting very far. Then my ma & pa removed the HUGE sofa bed from my attic sitting room and it made such an amazing difference - it was all so much easier with space to move. So, I was ruthless in my tidying. . .well as ruthless as I can be (watch it, I might need that scrappy bit of paper!)
I finally finished 'THE TIDY' at 3am today. . .ready for my first two guests, Karen and Sara, who visited this morning! So, I can now use BOTH my attic rooms to their full potential, and best of all I have SACRED SPACE to relax in!
Saturday 11th
It is so sunny.
We didn't get any snow all week.
But it's sunny.
The rest of the country got snow.
Chichester didn't.
I like snow.
S'not fair.
Have you tried the latest JEN QUIZ yet? It is an easy one, I promise!
Monday 6th
I guess it's back to work for most of us - where did the holidays go? I am pretty worn out having worked hard throughout the christmas period. . .housesitting. Early nights and very early mornings are not conducive to enjoying yourself at christmas. I feel as though going back to work will be like a bit of a holiday for me! I hope you all have a super "back to normal week".
Sunday 5th

There was an amazing frost this morning - I took some photos with my digital camera. Did I mention that my life is not my own at the moment? Everything will be back to normal tomorrow - fingers crossed!
Saturday 4th

IT SNOWED! Big fat flakes of snow fell in blizzard fashion early this morning - but I forgot that I had my digital camera with me until most of it had melted away! Well, in my defence it was early and I had animals to feed!
Wednesday 1st
HAPPY NEW YEAR ! ! !

Welcome to jentours 2003!!!
