saturday 28th
I'm still house-sitting. . .I'm not getting a whole lot of time to rest and relax - but I still have the weekend before work starts up again, although with New Years day being in the middle of this next week, I've only got to work for a couple of days anyway!
The turkey has all been finished now. . .I managed to eat turkey and stuffing with cranberry sauce for 3 lovely days in a row! Now there are just the millions of chocolates left to munch through. . .the toffee that I am eating at the moment is hurting my mouth and making me feel ill! I should think about eating some fruit and vegetables at some point today - I bought some satsumas yesterday!
friday 27th
So, Essi & Lisa, Liz & Gav came round to play today! We ate much cake, mulled wine teabread & mince pies and drank lots of tea. It was a very festive late afternoon high tea - and fabulous company!

I'm house-sitting again. . .and it's nearly Christmas. . .so I don't expect I'll get to update much over the next week or so.
sunday 15th
'Sing along Joseph' was loads of fun - it took me back to when I sang it in the choir. . .all those words! Smeg enjoyed it too - she remembered watching Jason Donovan performing it on stage in London. . .in a loin cloth! Happy days!
saturday 14th
I'm going to 'Sing Along Joseph & his technicolored dreamcoat' in a few hours! I'm going with smeg and her friend - we are going to wear all things technicolored. . .well I'm wearing my rainbow stripe scarf.
The Second JEN QUIZ is up - The maximum points are 100 and I'm not giving any hints away this time! Sadly, the first quiz has gone from the website. . .but I might stick the answers here eventually.

I did loads of Christmas shopping in Chi yesterday afternoon - I gave myself a pat on the back for getting down to business, but was totally exhausted by it! I went to St.Martins tea rooms to recover with a hotty choccy and a slab of banana bread - it worked wonders!

I'm feeling almost better now.
Sadly, one of the worst things about being ill was that I had to cancel my 3rd Annual Christmas Shopping trip to London with Lisa :o( That is usually my official start to the Christmas holidays with all the festive windows, lights and all. . .and I had to cancel. Sorry Lisa. . .
