This has to be my 'photo of the moment'. I have wanted to take a picture of bluebells like this for years - because they look so beautiful. And for years, for one reason or another I have failed. I thought that I would miss them again this year, when my camera broke the other week - but mum kindly lent me her one and I got my picture! These bluebells are hidden in the woods, and you can just see them from the road as you drive past - a flash of blue in the background.
This week I shall be mostly housesitting at the magic cottage. This is Harry - he is the biggest baby in the canine world. Can't eat his food without a body guard, gets stuck upstairs because he is afraid of heights and knocks on the door knocker when he wants to come inside!

Ok. so I've been without my digital camera for two weeks now. It's tough, but I'm just about coping. . .and I'm sure I would have lasted the total 3-4 weeks without it - but (thank god) ma & pa bought one yesterday. It goes without saying that I was chief technical advisor (Mwhaaa haaa haaa) and they bought the next model up from mine (3 million instead of my 2 million) - it has audio with the video facility and everything. This means that I can take a certain shot that I have been waiting (literally) years to get! I'll have to wait for the sun to come out though. How cryptic.
4 days off. . .Hmmmmmm!
Although technically it is 2 days totally off, then 2 days housesitting - but still 'off'. Am I making sense? Don't answer that.
So I finished at 3pm this afternoon - walked to town and purchased garments for the wedding next week. I had bumped into Caz and she helped me choose some things. Now all I have to do is pluck up the courage to wear them! I don't know why jeans and combats are not suitable for weddings - spoil sports!
What a glorious day! It felt like the middle of summer. . .but it's still only April for goodness sake! I saw clare and her wonderful '3' this morning/afternoon, which was fabulous as always.
I walked to town late this afternoon - I had to race to GNC to buy tofu weiners. I made it with seconds to spare, which can only have annoyed the shop assistants (who probably thought they would be closing on time today - Mwhaaa haaa haaa!)

Yep - my camera is officially broken. It's been sent back to sony to deal with it. It will be covered by warranty though so I'm not worried about cost - just the wait. Anyway, apologies for the lack of photographic images.
My lovely digital camera isn't working. 7 months old and I've worn it out already? Surely not! I'm going to walk into town in a few minutes to see what the friendly camera shop boys suggest. . .

Karen and I walked to the new cinema (woohoo!) this evening to see 'Dirty Pretty Things', which starred Audrey 'Amelie' Tautou. I thought it was a good film - especially French Audrey's Turkish accent. . .although poor Karen had a slight problem with whole 'squeamish' factor!
