Current Rant:

People who are against Gays

Think about it.  How is a gay person different from you or me?  Not in any way at all.  They just love in a different way.  My biggest peive is when a person who disses a gay person doesn't know one at a personal/best friend level.  They don't know how they think or feel.  They've never experienced anything outside of their perfect bubble.  My main point is this:

You cannot stop loving someone
just as you cannot start

This generally means that a gay person does not CHOOSE to be gay.  A lot of the time, it just happens to be the way they are.  I do not choose to be straight.  I can't determine mentally whether or not I am gay.  When a person ridicules a gay for what they are and how they love, they are just judging worse than than the gay will ever judge at all.  I'm not sure I'm getting my main point across here, but I think you know that I can't stand a person who doesn't seem to understand a gay and what they go through.  I know it's tough, it's been the norm to be straight for centuries.  But now that sexuallity as well as outwardly gay people are beginning to surface more in the media, the gays are becoming more and more of a target.  Next time you encounter a gay person, do NOT wrinkle your nose and pretend like you are better/more intellegent than them because you can supposedly tell between right and wrong.  Instead of that, openly accept their gayness because they probably went through a lot just to let you know.  They are always risking their self concience when they tell someone because a lot of the time, if not all of the time, they are rejected by the closed minded

Currrent Rave:

The Summer

I love the summer.  It's the only time when I can kick back and really be myself without worrying about what people at school are constantly thinking.  It's a time when I can stack up those bucks, and maybe head up to the cabin with the family.

It's also the time for summer camps.  What better time to grow up and separate yourself from the normal life by meeting new people and making your life for the better?  When you think about it, the summertime is the part of the year that a lot of the love songs are written.  The summertime is a time for quick, often intense relationships.  They are the ones most often remembered.

Having a summer job is a complete plus.  Think about it.  When it comes time for school again, you can have mega bucks saved up for things like clothes and music.

You may think that this rave is extremely shallow and very Jen, but I really love the summer, and this is the place to express what I love!
