Boston Fireworks - July 4th, 2005
The fireworks this year were EXCELLENT.  The day was perfect, clear blue skies, warm sun, cool breeze.  Kevin and I made our way down to the Esplanade around 3pm.  We managed to avoid the masses and secured ourselves a little riverside space with a good view of the barge.  We thought we would have about a 70% perfect view of the bright display but wouldn't you know, a few hours later God answered my prayers and the barge repositioned itself right in front of us! Our day only got better when  Kathryn pedaled herself down a foot traffic only (!!!) Storrow drive to meet us!  Yay Kathryn!  A few short hours and one plate of fried dough later the fireworks began.  It was an impressive display.  There were many different types of fireworks and per usual I LOVED the white ones.  They are my favorite.  You may call them simple, but I think they are just perfect in all their color-less splendor.  THe only thing that could have made this evening better were if it lasted longer and I got less bug bites.  ****Four Stars ****
