WELCOME..........To Lil' Munchkins Daycare Website!
"Hi", my name is Jen. I am a licensed
childcare provider in Galesburg, IL, located on the west side of town, a block from
Steele School. I recently re-married......Sean........he is a wonderful, supportive, loving
husband and stepfather........and our Daycare Handyman!
I have two beautiful
daughters....Cecilia, and Sara,
and two wonderful step children.....Zach, and Kylie.
We have a Corgi(dog), Miss Harley Jane, a tortoise shell kitty, Spiker, and a Mouse named Mickey.
My family has been my inspiration for Lil' Munchkins Daycare........It once was a
DREAM.............Now that dream has come true................and I am now able to
enjoy my children as well as share my life with other children.
I have been in the childcare field "professionally" since August of 2002.
I currently have 2 full-time munchkins..........and 2 part-time munchkins.
I am certified in
Infant, Child and Adult CPR and First Aid.
I am continually looking to better educate myself in childcare related areas........
My goal is to provide children with a clean, safe, comfortale home environment where they can play and learn with guidance, and loving care while parents work, but my
first priority is for the children to have FUN!
Jen's Lil' Munchkins is a very small Day Care home. We are different than most Day Care's because we limit the number of children that are enrolled............I guarantee a small group of up to
four children only! By staying small I feel I am able to provide the quality care and nurturing atmosphere that children deserve.
In my spare time........I enjoy spending time with my family, all of our children are actively
involved in sports......I love watching them ALL ....and we are pretty busy year round!
I like getting comfy on the
sofa and curling up watching
a movie. I enjoy reading, keeping in touch with my internet pals, and baking.
I would have to say my hobby, and my ALL time favorite "extra curricular activity" is my "Sporty"! Yep my 2001/ Sunglow Jade/Harley Davidson Sportster..........I LOVE TO RIDE! My husband has
a "Sporty" also.......and it's our favorite thing to do together........RIDE! Someday we hope to
BUILD our "own" DREAMBIKE, together.
