| I Took His Hand and Followed My dishes went unwashed today, I didn't make my bed. I took his hand and followed, Where his eager footsteps led. Oh yes we went adventuring, My little child and I. Exploring all the great outdoors, Beneath the sun and sky. We found a cool, sun-dappled glade, And now my small child knows. How Mother bunny hides her nest, How Jack-in-pulpit grows. We watched a robin feed her young, We climbed a sunlit hill. Saw cloud-sheep scamper through the sky, We plucked a daffodil. That my house was so neglected, That I didn't brush the stair. In twenty years no one one Earth, Will know or really care. But that I've helped my little child, To adulthood grow. In twenty years the whole wide world, My look and see and know. | Children deserve wonderful care. I have been a Home Daycare Provider in Guelph, Ontario for fourteen years and am dedicated to providing children with a loving, safe, and stimulating environment. My small group takes lots of time to stop and smell the dandelions, stomp through puddles, and snuggle up with good books. I also provide a loosely structured program based on themes suggested by the interests of the children. Friendships are developed as the children are involved together in a variety of activities and early-childhood experiences. The birth of my son four years ago made me realize how much trust parents place in me to care for their children.
