I'm beginning to realize just how dumb it is to have this website when all my needs are met much better by a combination of blogger, myspace, and Independent Artists Company. In fact, let's all just forget about this site. It's ugly, hard to update, and I don't even know how to make it do text links. Shows in the shows section.

Hey y'all. I'm back at school in Michigan, USA. It'll be a little while before I'm totally musically back on my feet, but I plan on working with Great Ghosts and recording a full band album with Aaron Quillen (lonewolfandcubmusic.com) and Travis Bravender under the supervision of Tom Giltrow. The band is hypothetically named The Believers, but I believe that name has already been used, so I'll be looking out for another.
I'll hopefully be playing shows around and trying to get last summer's album in people's ears. Thanks for checking in.

I'm in West Africa until March. You can read about it at "thoughts." When I get back I hope to write a set for Great Ghosts and find a drummer, and record a new Alec Jensen album.

The CD release party went great, thanks everyone for coming. So the CD is done and ready for order, or, starting this week, it'll be available at Encore Records in Ann Arbor.
I wanna take a second and really thank Emily Powers for putting so much time and work into the album. Her voice, her talent on so many instruments, and her recording expertise were invaluable to the album. I honestly could not have done this without her, at all. Make sure to check out her new album, because it's totally awesome.
I also want to thank Tom Giltrow for lending the mic that I recorded most of the album with, because I was an idiot and bought some equipment that didn't work with my 4 track.
There are songs available to download in the "discography" section, along with another song that didn't make the album.

First, that internet single will come out any day, seriously, Adam just hasn't put the songs online yet. Secondly, the show Sunday has been moved to the 27th. It will be the CD Release Party for myself and Emily.

So... this is my new website. Sorry it's totally hideous, I don't know anything about web design and the geocities templates look like crap. It's unattractive, but I've wanted to have a site with multiple pages for a long time.
This section, "Home" is where I'll post news and whatever. Hopefully I'll figure out how to link to some mp3's in the media section without just typing out the address. In the meantime, downloads can still be found on my site at myspace.com. The "Thoughts" section is my blog, which will remain in action, but more as a music diary. If you notice any problems or typos, or if you have any suggestions, please email me at the address to the left.
Hopefully I'll have some real photos at some point too, although I have to admit, Hearts The Cow and Happy The Butterfly are really lighting this place up.
My full-length indie/folk/pop debut LP arrives this month. I may make the show in the "Shows" section the night of the release.
