Introduction to the Jensen Car Club Australia

| The Jensen Car Club is an Australia wide club catering for all Jensen models and enthusiasts. All Jensen enthusiasts are encouraged to become members of the club, whether you own a registered car, a restoration project, are looking for a suitable car, or am interested in the Jensen marque. |

| The club currently has around 170 members, with cars ranging from a 1938 Jensen H Type, through the 1950s Interceptors and 541s, 1960s CV8s, Interceptors and FFs, right through to the SPs, Interceptor Convertibles, Jensen Healeys and GTs of the 1970s. Australia has a large number of Jensens (over 700 examples are known to have been in the country, although the number that survive today would probably be approx. half that figure), and nearly all examples of the marque are represented here. |

| The main event on the club social calendar is the annual rally which is held each Easter. The rally is held in a different state each year to ensure that all members get a chance to participate. Previous events have been held in Sydney, the Sunshine Coast, the Hunter Valley, Tasmania, Adelaide, Snowy Mountains and the Southern Highlands of NSW. |

| The National Jensen Car Club Rally in 2008 took place at Echuca in VIC. The 2009 Easter Rally is to take place in Canberra. This rally will be our 26th National Jensen Rally and promises to be a great time for all Jensen owners and enthusiasts. We'd love to see lots of Jensens and their owners there. |

Why should I join the club?
The Jensen Car Club of Australia is a great club to be a part of. There are a lot of benefits that make it a worthwhile and rewarding experience.
* The club sends out a quarterly magazine called 'The Interceptor' to all financial members. It is a truly great magazine with colur photos, stories, information and technical articles. A great read.
* The club has a national rally every Easter and every financial member is invited. 2009 is in Canberra.
* Each state has its own contacts and organises soicial outings and information sessions where possible.
* The club operates its' own Jensen Chat email group which is open to all financial members.
* The Jensen Alternative parts List is available to all club members.
* The club has many knowledgeable Jensen owners who are only too willing to asist in the preservation of the Jensen motor car.
