| Jim maury Henson is most well known for being the creator of the 'Muppets', however his amazing work goes far beyond those fuzzy and wacky puppets. Born in Maryland September 1936 always knew he would entertain the world of television, but never dreamt how successful and well loved he would become. Henson begun his television work with 'sam and friends' and because the show was such a success he went about creating seseme street. His career in Tv led him to work towards the film industry with 'muppet movie'. He challenged the world of film in 1982 with the less 'muppet -like' film with the 'Dark crystal'. this was proved to be his favourite and he tried again with | ||||||||||
| 'Labyrinth'. When both movies failed at the box office, his true vision and dream was knocked back. When Jim died of a bacterial infection, the world was silent with sorrow of the loss of such an influencial man who created such marvelous puppets and animatronics. He is still sadly missed by the company who continue what he had begun and dreamed so much of. |
