FRANK OZ
Frank Oz was born in Hereford, UK on the 25th
May 1944. Most famous for his role of performing Miss Piggy in the Muppet show, he has had and still has a successful career as a director and Puppeteer for Starwars and occasional Muppet films. He begun his career at the age of 17, in a short filom entitled:
Time Piece, which won an Academy Award. Since the beginning of his career, he has always worked with his frequent puppeteer Jim Henson (who directed Time Piece). Soon after he took on the role of the Cookie Monster in 1967 for a tv series called Our place. This led to Seseme Street being broadcasted across the world. The continuing success of Seseme street, allowed the Muppet Show to be made and later two fantasy film (Both Directed by Jim) Named the Dark Crystal and Labyrinth.
Today Frank still works on the muppet movies, and for the last time (this year) performed Yoda in Starwars. Apart from his puppeteering career, he is a great director and has an excellent CV including comedies : Bow finger and In and out
