Thanksgiving at the US Embassy - Tokyo 11/29/02
We were invited to Ambassador Baker's residence (attached to the US Embassy) for a Thanksgiving feast, along with other members of the JET Program.  Above L: The spread!  Above R: The chefs carving the turkey.
We had an opportunity to chat with Ambassador Baker after dinner.  He gave us a quick tour of the residence's garden.
Christmas in Yokohama - 12/25/02
A bunch of us "foreigners" got together for a Christmas feast!  Kathleen and Andrew were our hosts.  Dale and I managed to make 2 apple pies in our microwave oven!
L: Jenr and Dale with Jadine's presents from Santa.
Japan-style!  Christmas eating and socializing on the floor. (Clockwise L to R): Ursula, Carin, Jadine, Dale, Jenr, Kylie, Tam.
We ate TONS of food and played silly games... and of course drank a lot of wine!
Andrew tries out Pin-the-Nose-on-Rudolph - good job, Andrew!
