| Saturday May 10, 2003 Ok here is the first entry that I have. I don't really know if this is going to work..afterall I am not a net junkie..like my friend Kim, who has my password and is CONTINUALLY going in at her (as the big shots say) Layzure. So what shall i ramble about today you ask...well, I am going to ramble about nothing. HA Just a test...and only a test..the TRUE journal entry will be TOMORROW! STAY TOONED.... Sunday May 11, 2003 HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! Mother's day, Who knew how HARD it is to be a mom, until you ARE one! Not me... Got some BEAUTIFUL flowers for mothers day, and two cards. We went out last night with our friends Kevin and Lisa. We went anc checked out the "new" restaurant which was ok..unfortunatley for me the "lounge" menu was not going to be ready until Monday. All the appatizers were seafood, and seeing as I LOVE seafood so much, I had the mashed potatos and veggie medley. Not bad..wouldn't RUSH out to go there again. Then we headed over to Forty below. That was FUN! There was a Karaoke contest going on, and man on man some people thing they ROCK! Too bad for them my poor ears were bleeding in pain from their strained vocal cords! Then I was a hot shot, and went up there with some ladies Shannon (an ex stripper aged 50-60 or something) Gabe (she was there while her son was in the crowd loaded and up on stage as well) and then we got Lisa to come up and sing. I held the mic like a professional...I gave it all I was worth..I SUCKED! ha ha. We sang Good bye Earl. Which was funny cuz as I sat there and contemplated going up to sing, that was one of the only songs that I tought I'd give a try. I mean I could have enticed the crowd with a song pleasing thriller (no NOT Thriller by Michael Jackson..please!) But I could have gone up there and belted out like AND I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU OU OUOUOUOUOU ..but I didn't feel like having the scouts there chase me home to get me to sign a contract... You know how it goes! So needless to say we were the loudest people in the crowd, and it actually paid off. Dan (a contestant) was like "YOU GUYS ROCK!! YEAY... I'm BUYING YOU A ROUND!!! WOO HOO) so that was ok..we got two rounds out of him, and he was genuinley happy that we were there having a good time, and putting up with the "great" singers. But by the time it was 11:30 I had to head home. Steve and Kevin were playing pool and I went over and said...k, I have to go. Steve said wait till this game is over, and I told him I couldn't so I started walking home,and as I walked home, staggering and watching my shadow do the same, I had an empiphany...I'M LOADED! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!! Tuesday May 13, 2003 Oh what to write about..I mean I don't want to talk your ears off about nothing..mind you back in the day I seem to remember Craig makin mention to someone that if you gave me and Kim a topic..didn't matter what the topic was, we could spend HOURS talking about it...and he gave an example. He said "so what do you think of belly button lint???" and then it all started! lol Ahh the good ole days! Ahhh and the learning channel..what a great show to have on here..ha ha..there is some show on as I type that says "and the male whales penis is 3 METERS long, and the encounters may last up to 3 hours! HA HA HA...man oh man..tv tells you anything and everyting a person may not want to know! Just like I just did to you!So have I ever told you two of my favorite smells in the whole world...Fresh cut grass...(I didn't say a fresh cut from someones ass either!) and the smell of the rain. MMMMM I LOVE IT! New topic. Trampoline...I got the kids one..a 13 foot one with one of those safety enclosures, and I think I have more fun on it than THEY do! It ROCKS! Ok enough of my crappy topics...read...be happy. eat fork... Wednesday May, 14, 2003 Ok Today my dear followers...I mean friends is a special day..today you see is what is called HALF birthday. What is a half birthday you ask? WELL Today is May 14, and my REAL birthday is November 14...WHICH means only 6 more SHOPPING MONTHS until my birthday! WOO HOO!!! Start shopping! What did we do today. Well we walked out to the airport, then around Magrum, and then up to the co-op and home. It was a GREAT walk! You know tomorrow it's suppose to raine tomorrow...which will be ok I LOVE THE RAINE! It's so calmin..just what I NEED! lol. My kids on the other hand they go stir crazy...we bought the kids a Trampoline a 13 foot one, and it's a lot of fun..but for some reason I don't seem to think it's a great idea at like 6:00 am!!! We are building a big deck out back of our place RIGHT IN VIEW OF THE NEW APARTMENT! GRRR We are building a 10x 32 foot deck....I can't wait then I can THROW them out! ha kidding..no then at least they can go outside...when I have things to do here. You know a saying that I like... When you point your finger at someone..look down there are always THREE pointing back at you...LOOK AT YOU FIRST! Ahh physcology... Kay I am fading here I don't know what else to type..oh THANKS KIMBO!!!! Friday May 16, 2003 Well, I have a BILLION things to write about today...Dell...where to start. Gots my new Delly..and hooked it all up...I think they are trying to screw me...gave me bottom of the line stuff..when I didn't have bottom of the line stuff..hmmm Ahh I don't want to write right now..I'll write something witty tomorrow. I wish I could write like Jann Arden *sigh* Monday May 19, 2003 Hello der...I sat here today remembering things about the "past". Why is it that everyone that I know, has that "well back in the day" type of attitude. Does that mean people are unhappy? Or is it just because those times had such a GREAT impact on our lives that it just doesn't want to close that chapter? There are things in your past that you can think back to that just make you grin. That happened to me today. I was driving and I guess kinda daydreaming (HOW SAFE IS THAT!) And I just started flipping back through those old pages in my rolodex mind, and there was such a happy thought lingering there, and I just drove down the street smiling. Ahhh sweet memories. Then I hit the highway. I LOVE driving the highway. It always makes me feel good. I hit the gas, and the booster in the Grand Prix kicked it up, and I just LOVE the sound, feel of it. I LOVE that car. Anyway...I have to make a break for it. I have to get to bed...and make some zzzzzz'ssssssssssssssss CRUSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH |
