| Friday June 11, 2003 WOO HOO!!! Did I ever tell you that my friend Kimbo ROCKS! She is a SUPAH STAH! I love ya man..dearly not queerly! So what can I ramble about today. Well the circus is in town. I'm not a big advocate of them tho. So my sissy and her man are thinkin of taking the kids to it. I'd rather get them a bag of stuff together and head out to the lake and have a picnic. Me and the kids did that one day not too long ago. We left Drayton with good ole Grams, and kady, bro and I headed out to the YK river, and had some lunch (mmm I LOVE the word lunch...it sounds yummy..ROFL). You should go check out Jann Arden's website, and read her journal. Man she cracks me up! go there sometime. She seems so real..not like those phonies all over the place..she tells it like it is. LOL...go read..you'll see! A few days back I had all this inspirational stuff to write, and now i can't remember what it was. Guess, I wasn't that inspired! lol So I'll be heading down to GP on August 24 to take Kady for Tim and Michelyn's wedding. I think once gets use to everyone she'll have a fun, I would imagine that Kady is going to be the flower girl..not really sure. But what ever she does I'm sure that she will have fun. She is big in to the whole wedding thing. She keeps telling everyone that she is going to get a beautiful dress, and a beautiful cake for her wedding....to Fred Jr. Lol...I think that Little Freds family are great, such nice people. It's kinda funny that she is so in love with little Fred. She talks about him all the time and how they are going to get married...she's FOUR!!! Ahh well, at least they are a good family! I don't know what I'm gonig to do...I haven't been childless for so many years. I'm gonna miss my kids so much! I wonder if I'll sleep in??? Doubt it....anyway just wanted to touch base. I'm gonna come back and type somemore..but until then...KEEP FIT AND HAVE FUN! Sunday July 13, 2003 You know people make me laugh..mostly they piss me off...but that's another story..ha ha. But I have this old people theory...it goes something like this...AHEM..." If I was walking through a door and an old person was walking in behind me or coming out the other way, and I did NOT hold the door open, that old person would be like "what bad manners young people have nowadays...don't even hold the door for thier elders..." BUT on the same note, If I held the door open for the old person, 8 out of 10 do not even say thank you...and that's ok? I don't get it. I mean if someone does something nice for me I generally make it a rule to say thanks, at least! Just like today, I was walking out of a store, and this family was walking in, they practially bulldozed me and I was holding the door...first the little son (about 9-11) walks in, then the mother holding another kid..(5years maybe) then the dad comes in..not ONE of them said thanks..first of all YOU BULLDOZED ME...second, you don't even say thanks!! So of course Jennifer says, OH YOUR WELCOME!, and the dad kinda looks back embarrassed and says, OH..UH Thank you...I just looked back and shook my head...CLOWN! I was lookin around town when I was driving today..there are so may new people here. TONS of new faces everywhere I look...maybe it's just the little kids that have grown up and are attending the bars and I don't know who they are cuz it's been about 3 months or maybe MORE since the last time I went to the bar. But I have been noticing such a change here. I mean when I was a kid, my mom and dad always always always let me go outside and play anywhere in the neighborhood...now questions or worries. I won't even let my kids out in my yard without me being there. I have noticed there are a lot of the "new" faces here that are bringing a lot of their shitty city attitude here with them...know what..we have enough of our own city bullshit here..don't bring yours here and think it's ok...WE DON'T NEED ANYMORE! I think it's so funny cuz when I was younger I thought, I'm a pretty good kid..I don't get into much trouble...and I'm not a snotty teen. But thinking back, I was to a point...I mean I was lippy...well I STILL am lippy, afterall, the squeeky whell gets the oil! I just can' stand sitting back and letting someone say something that pisses me off and not say something, I think that is one of the answers I should use in job interviews for the ever so popular..." AND WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR WEAK POINTS?" Like yer gonna tell them things like that. "well when I get stressed, I swear, and get really violent, and I like to yell at other people. I sometimes throw things at the wall, I once threw my coffee mug and hit a co worker in the head. Oh and one other thing. I REALLY don't get along easily with other people. I guess you could say I'm not a team player...other than those couple minor things...I think I'd make a great addtion to your company..don't you? ROFL...I could just see it. Like the interviewer doesn't know what you are telling them is a bunch of bullshit.lol Ahh anyway, my Cousin and I we talking the other day she told me that Doc Walker was going to be at Stampede...so they came onto CMT today and I called cuzzy up left her a message something like... DIS WAS A REQUESSSS...from Jennifer in Yellowknife to her Cuzin man, in Calgary..just outside of Brockett...ROFL ahhh I love my couin..what would I do without her and my many meaningful informative daily telephone calls! lol Anyway, I better hit the sack. but I'll be back tomorrow... TA TA Monday July 14, 2003 Hey all...wonder if anyone reads my journal on a day to day basis...hmmm Anyway, I just have a few things to do this afternoon. I'd like to go to Linco's but I'm not stupid..I CAN'T take the kids in there with me...could you just imagine! break, smash, crash, slam, run, blam! It would be just like the old comics! And I'd walk out of the store with a whole wack of new BROKEN expensive things! I'll be back later tonight, hopefully with some intelligent stuff to write about! LATER KIDS :) Tuesday July 15 Why is it that when one kid is having a "DAY" ALL of them have the same day! Man 8:00pm couldn't get here fast enough today I tell ya! Whinning and crying and disobeying all day long. We walked over to the park and I tell ya that was the WORST idea I had all day! Now I'm sitting here with the fan over head full force, dishes done, laundry in the washer, kid crying in bed...grrr, tv is blaring(NOTE:with old bugs bunny and all those guys playing!) Ran into Wal-mart tonight(THANKS GRANDMA!!!) ran into my friend Janice there...she told me she reads my journal! WOO HOO at least I know I'm not typing just for myself! Woo hoo! I'm drinking a diet Pepsi, watchin Nashville Star. It's pretty good. I think the one channel that I can turn to all the time is CMT...does that mean that I'm getting old? NAH, I hit the road after picking up my car from the shop, and threw on the ole THIRD EYE BLIND WOO HOO...cranked it and ripped up the loop..hmm hopefully no by-law officers are reading this..or noone RATS ME OUT! lol Ahh Janice reminded me of something that will always have a special little place in my heart..pull out the kleenex people...MY STORMY!!
