THE GET UP KIDS: Im a like screaming little girl at a Backstreet Boys concert
when it comes to these guys. If you never heard them before run directly to
your local record store and buy it all! They have 3 7"s a 4 song ep and a
full length entitled "4 Minute Mile". Also a really cool song on the new
Tribute to the Pixies album along with other rockin bands like Weezer,
Promise Ring,Samiam and more! The Get Up Kids just signed on to Vagrant
Records and have a new full length comming up in september!!!

7/9/99 @ Hanover House in Meriden C.T.
The smallest and dirtiest club ive ever been too I LOVED IT!
Lady Luck was good nice hard female vocals and a kind of tight band sort
of punk/alternative, nice though. Saves The Day are a five piece emo/pop
punk/hadcore/accoustic from the beautiful land of N.J. with incredible
lryics. Not to tight live but still very cool. Gameface came on to about
a croud of thirty+ kids about only 15 knew who the were, i was one of the
4 kids singing along to everyword. There are very tight with awesome drums
and just a smooth sound, kind of rock/punk cali style. Over all a fun
time.
THE VANS WARPED TOUR 99
North Hampton Fair Grounds M.A.
Very mixed feelings on this one, some good bands, kind of fun, lots of
idiot kids who want to be fred from Limp Bisquick. So i stuck to the side
stage most of the time. The Bouncing Souls kicked ass as always, 7 Seconds
were funny becase the still want to be 16. I missed Avail because i was
hidding in the shade and forgot what time they were playing! Blink 182 were
funny as fuck, lots of under age girls showing of there boobies.
LAST NIGHT

i got tooooo drunk and now im at work and i want to die! My boss saw me

I used to have a pet fish name "spike" he was a feeder fish that i liberater
from the pet store for 10 cents. He lived in a tupperware container with a rock
in it.He may have been ugly but i loved him unconditionly. But one fateful day
i came home and saw my little fish sleepin in a funny way, much more upside down
than usual. When i came to the grim realization of his passing away it was
very dificult on me.My time as a child was over, that day i became a man!
Now a man i realized a stangely strong lust for vagina....oh... wrong story.

If you dont know who ATOM is youre missin out! he is a one man band with a
sequencer playing odd 80d's like punk/ new wave, and he's so much fun to see live
Shooter McGavin is a cool new band, they sound like a mix between Kid Dynamyte
and Guttermouth...very cool.Boiling Man is a veteran HxC/punk always loud and fun
But my advise to you is see ATOM listen to ATOM and love ATOM!

8/2/99 El N Gee Club,New London C.T.
This is the hottest club in the world it was like 110 degrees in the place,no joke
i wasnt even moving around that much and my clothes were drenched in sweat.
C.F.A. are really good but are lacking some thing so they are cursed to be an
opening band for ever.Earth Crisis kicked ass, i only know like 2 of their songs
and they played em both.The Misfits could have played less new stuff but I cant
blame em for trying to get kids into there new stuff.They played a few classics
such as "Bullet,Where Eagles Dare,Skulls,138," and more!
WHAT I WANT TO BE WHEN I GROW UP
I wanted to be a pirate but came to the realization that im just not that tough,
so whats the next best thing..a sea captain...not quite a pirate but its still
along the same lines.I'll only transport dangerous stuff on my vessel like pumas and
those plastic six pack holders
Still upset that im only a sea captain i'll take on a
hobby,now the hobby should be manly so ive chose to be a part time matador!
Ahh yes that should settle my neurotic angst of only being a sea captain.

These kids can do no wrong, this ep is just as incredible as everthing they ever did
Its kind of hard to come by this cd so you might have to order it as I did but its worth

What a cool club! It was so air conditioned i didnt even break a sweat!
It was Fastbreaks C.D. release party and they are so awesome,they were having
a great time and so was the crowd!Saves The Day was remarkable, Same with Kid Dynamite.
Farside are good but not my bag o chips.

here is what you will need
2 large uncooked beef livers
1 yard of twine
1 microwave
and a vice
take 2 livers and roll into a burito like shape leaving a small opening on one side. tie the twine around the
livers snug enough to hold but loose enough to keep burito like shape. take the livers and cook in micowave
for aproximatly 3 min or until comfortably warm.(note; you dont want to cook the livers
just heat them you want them to remain the same feel as if raw but warm)
while heating take the vice and mount it to a table about
the height of your crotch, buy this time your livers should be ready. remove from the microwave place
in vice open end out.secure them buy tightning the vice to the tightness you prefer had have at it!
now thats some good clean rainy day fun!

i dont even know if this is there latest album but i think it is so lets just say it its. the first 7 songs are rockin
"cuddle core" as i like to call it . i imagine i will like the whole thing soon so that means i recomend it

The connecticut show was surprisingly incredible, all the bands had a blast except 6 going on 7 because there were some old
mullet dudes jumpin around the dance floor which was amusing but not for the band. Saves the day were wonderful as always
Hot rod circuit was insane and the get up kids oooh the get up kids were fuckin ear candy! They played everything off the
Woodson ep which was really cool some new stuff to, all in all best show of the year!
Jersey show was just plain fun.
i followed hot rod circuit down to the hurricane beaten town of Mansville where i helped the bands unload there vans and
ate cheetos. Hot rod circuit were again wonderful, At the drive in were nuts, i love there afros. And you guessed it
the get up kids were titilating (ive always wanted to use that word..did i spell it right?)

There first full length album and holy shit is it good! Very original sound catchy as a mother fucker if you like bands such as
weezer,archers of loaf,get up kids get this i promise you wont regret it. its one of my favorite albums right now.

I heard them while brousing on amazon.com which is a very good site because you can listen to their music and not buy it

What an awesome time i had, i drank a 40oz of ice bull acouple beers then went the show. I ran into my friend jake who
had a barage of beer in his back pack...WOO HOO i exclaimed! My friend Jay (bassest to HRC) wore a fluffy bunny
hood like the one in gummo he looked oh so handsome. So Re-Rediculum was cool then as i waited for HRC
six going on seven showed up, aparently they were invited to play this particular show awhile ago and things got mixed
up and never got back in touch but they showed up any way which was real cool, there awesome
MY 21st BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!
It started of at my parents house with cake and presents, i got pants,shoes and a pet fish named GOAT not to mention alot
of alcohol. Then we all went to some shitty hoocie club in danbury Ct. where i drank my weight in bud light. I dont
remeber much of the evening but here is what my friend said happend, first off id introduce my self to everone
as a one Mr. Kelly Goosecock and kept singing the master p song "make em say UHHH" but of course i had my own
modified lyrics which go as followed--->make em say Uhh..Uhhh...VAGA NA NA. cool huh! Then i was spitting on the
window and telling my spit just how much i hated this fucked up place. Half the time i was there i was sitting on a
barrel in the main hallway and everytime someone walked buy i made a fce and a sound like i was excreting in
this barrel. At 2am they kicked everyone out so i sat on a chair out side where chris felt compeled to tackle me
breaking the chair. So all in all kids if someone says your not cool because you dont drink.......there probly right!
