The Date

	Summary: You know how your told stories about how bad someone is and 
	then when you get the chance to talk to them you find out that their 
	actually a real nice person.


	Brie finished the final touches on her make up. This was her first date with 
	the new man in her life and she wanted everything to be perfect. The door 
	bell rang and she ran to answer it.

	"I hope I`m not to late." her date said as he handed her a dozen red roses 
	and big box of chocolates.

	"Oh no your right on time," she answered as she took the roses and 
	chocolate, "oh these smell wonderful, and chocolate is my favourite treat 
	thank you."

	Her date smiled shyly as Brie invited him into her quarters, she quickly 
	put her flowers in a vase of water and put the chocolates on the table.

	"I hope the OC is okay for dinner, I thought it would be best since we both 
	go on duty in four centars." the man said.

	"The OC is just fine."

	Brie`s date was the perfect gentleman. He held her hand in the hallway, 
	pulled her chair out and gently pushed it in as she sat down, ordered her 
	food for her, after she told him what she would like. He even ordered the 
	best Ambrosa the had, okay it was only a yahren old but it was the best 
	they had.

	The other customers stared at the two while they dined, whispering to each 
	other how they couldn`t believe that a pretty girl like Brie would go out 
	with *him*. But the two simply ignored them, not allowing anyone to ruin 
	their evening.

	When it was time to the gentleman once more pulled out her chair, and 
	held her arm as they left the OC. When they reached her door Brie turned 
	to her date and said, "Thank you for that lovely meal, I had a wonderful 
	time." And then she kissed him on the cheek.

	Her date blushed but still had the courage to ask for another date.

	"Sure I`ll go out with you, your such a gentleman, not like other men on 
	this ship I could mention."

	"Well then how about two nights from now, I`m on days then."

	"So am I, it`s a date."

	"Great, I`ll come calling at say 6:00, we can go over to the Rising Star 
	they have better meals than the OC."

	"Sounds wonderful."

	"Well I`ll see then, goodnight."

	"Goodnight Reese." And she kissed him once more.
