Since the 1890 U. S. Census was distroyed by fire, the first census to include Robert and Cora was the 1900 Pike County, Kentucky census. They were living in Meathouse District.Robert and Cora had twelve children. Eight survived into adulthood. Robert had a beard. Cora was tall, at least 5'8" and big boned. Robert is buried in a family cemetery on land owned by Troy Deskins. The cemetery is located on a point on top of a hill behind the railroad near Sharondale, KY.
