Obituary: Lassie Lowe,daughter of the late Roscoe and Emma Morrison,born April 14,1903 at Thomas,KY.,died Oct.12,1972;married Ernest Hanners,April 1921;2 girls,one boy,Hazel Taylor of Gulnare,Pike Co.,KY.,Emelie Smith of Pikeville,KY.,and Phillip Hanners,deceased,her parents,two sisters and a brother and a son.Member of the Big Branch Church of Old Regular Baptist,and was baptized,Oct.28,1956 by Rev.J.L.Nichols. June 1969 Lassie Lowe had cancer and it caused her to have a leg amputated and she was in a wheelchair till she died.
