1850 census, was listed at home with parents John and Malinda Thacker. She was incorrectly listed as a male and seven years old living in Pike, Kentucky.

1860 census, spelling incorrectly as "Dorkus" and listed incorrectly as a "male". She was living at home with her parents, John and Dorcas Thacker and three of her siblings in District 1, Pike, Kentucky. She was listed as 16 years old.
