Dixie Lee DESKINS

Information from the 1910, 1920 and 1930 census. Dixie is living with her two children, Junior and Beatrice Maynard at her sister's home, Myrtle Deskins Turnmire.


Leonard JUSTICE

According to the Obituaries from the Appalachian News-Express Newspaper, Pike Co Ky, Leonard also had one stepbrother, Colonel Cline of Charleston, WV; two stepsisters, Debbie (Mrs. Robert) York of Ransom and Patty (Mrs. Joey) Adams of Harts, WV; and two step-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, January 31, 1999, in the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Emory Varney, Curtis Wellman and Mike Smith officiating. Entombment followed in the Mountain Memory Gardens Mausoleum at Huddy. Arrangements were made under the direction of Rogers Funeral home of Belfry. Pallbearers were Bruce Hatfield, Joe Hurley, John Taylor, Roger Bogar, Rodney Justice, Leo Carden and Charles Brown. Special services were held at 7 p.m. Friday with Emory Varney and Larry Hubbard officiating, and at 7 p.m. Saturday with Emory Varney, Ballard Yates and Robert Smith.
