August ZALEWSKI

From Lorraine Jorgensen's notes from 1988, she believes August arrived in the US in 1872 or 1877.


Francis KLONOWAKA

From Lorraine Jorgensen's research in 1987, she believes her grandmother Francis arrived here in 1879 at 16 years of age.


Albert ZALEWSKI

Per Lorraine Jorgensen's research in 1987, she found him in the 1901 Detroit City Directory. Albert was living at 299 Williams Avenue, lab., h. Also residing in the home was his grandmother Constance, Charles and William.


Catherina BRATKE

1881, Catharzina, spelled Kathrina (wid Adam) was living with her sons Joseph and Thomas. Researched by Lorraine Jorgensen, January 8, 1988. From Sharon Dancer's research, she notes in the 1898 Detroit City Directory, Catherine boards with Joseph Zylla (Zella) married Anna Gaffke in 1885 (Anthony's youngest sister). 1890 Detroit City Directory that Catherine boards with a Joseph Schiller.


Thomas GAFFKE

1881, on the Detroit census, Thomas Gaffke was living with his mother, Catharzina and his brother, Joseph Gaffke. Researched by Lorraine Jorgensen on January 9, 1988.


John GAFFKE

Lorraine Jorgensen's research from Dec. 1987 did not include John. She only found Joseph's two sisters, Anna and Julianna and brother, Anthony.


August KLECHA

April 21, 1910 census, August is listed as 24 years old being married four years. He was a laborer at a brickyard. It was written he immigranted to US in 1888. He was living with his wife and two children next to his brother, John Klecha.


Anna GAFFKE

Per Lorraine Jorgensen's research, she discovered in Dec. 1987, that her father Joseph Gaffke had siblings. Anna was born Dec. 30, 1883 and baptized January 1, 1884. Her godparents were Anthon Gawke (sp) and Maria Kunke. Sharon Dancer provided original entry from church records. The records are from St. Casimir.

Per April 21, 1910 census, Anna was married four years. She is listed as 23 years old. She gave birth to two children and have two children living. They are living next to her sister, Julianna.

Per 1930, Anna was listed as 45 years old married; she was born in Michigan and her parents in Germany.


John KLECHA

April 21, 1910 census, John Klecha was listed as three years old born in Michigan living with his parents and sister in Detroit, Michigan.


Martha KLECHA

April 21, 1910 census, Martha Klecha was listed as two years old born in Michigan living with her parents and brother in Detroit, Michigan.
