The Meaning Of A Dream
Like a pine,
A dream begins as a seedling
Small and unprepared to confront
Bitter cold winters of defeat
Summers as devoid of water as times of success
Like a pine
It will mature
Nursed by gentle rains and winds of determination
If cut
It will never be known how tall it could of grown
How much a difference in this world it could of made
A dream must stand tall and strong
Remain unbattered by winds of failure
Or rains of disappointment
In a forest
Only the strongest seedlings will grow to the largest trees
In this world
Only the dream clung to with uttermost determination
Will yield success

A dream
Like a star
Must glow in the night sky
And produce a shine that will
Light up the darkest nights and times
A shine that will penetrate through the cloud of mediocrity
In a sea of stars
All will shimmer
But few will shine with a light brighter than all others
In a sea of dreams
Some may barely brush the surface of this world
Others will send ripples of inspiration that will touch this time
And future ones

Dreams are the deepest part of us
They tell us who we are
Who we will become
Without them
Life would be meaningless
To achieve a dream is to write your part in a never ending story
That has been written
From the moment this world came into existence
A story of different time and places
Woven together with silken threads of
Wisdom and hope
