These were taken by Rick's dad on April 2, 2006 during
a severe weather event. This funnel cloud wasn't the one that spawned the
tornado that damaged Rick and my apartment building the same day, but were
taken maybe 20 minutes later. Rick's dad was facing north when taking the
pictures, we live north of them, so basically this was Mother Nature's second
attempt at a tornado that would have touch down about half way between where
we live and where they live. It evenutally just collapsed but reformed just
over the county line as a weak tornado.
