These were taken mostly around Judy and Richard's house and mostly my playing with the camera to see what it could do. None are altered other than to crop non relevant stuff (like the ground or the side of the house) out and to resize them so they didn't take up a million percent of the page.

Spiders

This spider is absolutely the creepiest thing I've ever seen! I used the zoom because I certainly didn't want to get too close. I'm glad I didn't. It's on a solar light Rick has on the deck post, right after I took the picture it jumped about 2 feet to another section of deck railing. I stopped taking pictures of it at that point!

This green spider seems to live on my cucumber plants. I'm not overly fond of spiders, but since it's eating the beetles that I don't want on my plants, I'm not going to try to chase it away.

Lady Bugs

Unknown Buggies

This is actually either a Colorado Cucumber Beetle or a Mexican Bean Beetle. It looks more like the pictures of the Cucumber Beetle I've seen, but it only seemed to have affected my green bean plants and I've seen no damage other than dried up leaves at the bottom of my cucumber plants, so I'm thinking it's the Bean Beetle.

I've got no idea what this is, unless it's an immature Japanese Beetle.

This thing came into the house inside my shirt! When I scooped it out it flew to the curtain. After I took it's picture I shook the curtain out the door to get rid of it.
