Rick's Grandfather's cat had two kittens who now belong to Judy and
the boys. Originally the female was going to be my cat, but the two kittens,
Boston and Marie (who I had named Brooklynn) are too attached to each other
to be seperated. If they can't see each other, they'll cry until they find
each other. So it would be kind of cruel to seperate them.
This is Marie. She's a fiesty little calico who is totally in charge
even though she was the runt. She's a man's cat so it's kind of good that
she's staying where she is. She'll let the boys, and Rick and his dad handle
her, but if Judy and I try to hold her she'll struggle to get away.
This is Boston. He's more mellow and will let anyone hold and pet him
as long as it's not too rough. About the setting, James (Rick's nephew) has
this wrestling ring play set that he got around Christmas. The kittens just
LOVE to play in it. More of them playing in the wrestling ring below
The kitten's first venture outside ... they stayed pretty close to the steps
to the enclosed porch they slept/lived in for the first couple months (until
they're ready to be outside kitties)
Boston kept stalking the Maple 'helicopters' that got blown off the
trees during a recent wind storm
Marie did her fair shair of helicopter stalking too
Many of my friends know that I'm a Neopets addict ... but look, so are
the kittens:
