AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok well this time I got to remember what Élise told me ;P hehehe SO now I can share with all you wonderful people. Ok, the concert was once again in Fort Lauderdale, this time November 5, 1999, the last concert of the LTAL Tour L Anyway, I made a poster board for Élise where I drew "HI ELISE" in red really big and I printed out the pic that's on the Home Page of this site, but I enlarged it to a full size letter paper. Anyway, then I called Cara to ask her what else to write on it so I wrote a little message from her on the right of the pic as well as one from me and then on the left as a joke I wrote "Élise's Fan Club" hehehe and underneath the pic the addy to this site. Anyway, Cara also emailed me a letter for her and I attached it to one of the blank parts of the poster board. This is all kind of useless info for you guys but maybe there's some out there who wants to know what it was. Anyway. When I got to the arena I went to get my tickets and was disappointed that they weren't on the floor which is what I was hoping for so that I could go up to Élise and Céline on stage or while walking off stage. But it all worked out ok cause the tix I got were pretty good, first level, 5th row, so I had a pretty good view of the stage and them of me ;P Well I felt bad at that point actually for the people in back of me if I was to hold up that poster board because I'd block their view, but when the concert started, I was like the heck with them, I'm gonna make sure Élise sees it. AND SHE DID!!!!!!!! AAAAAAHHHH!!!!!! It was so cool because the very first time the three of them came over to my side to sing, I picked it up and held it high and I saw her stare at it for a sec and then turn over to Julie who was on the other side of that dude who sings with them to like show her hehehehe. Then they sang whatever and finally when the song was over I put it up again and I stood up and when I put it down she waved HI to me!!!! AAAAAAHHH!!!!!! Then the couple sitting next to me wanted to know what I was holding up since she had waved at me, so I showed them and I told them about the website. Ok well then I didn't raise it again because I felt bad for the people in back once again, but I had done my job, Élise had seen it J BUT WAIT….THERE'S MORE!!!!!! Hehehe Ok when Céline went to get the gifts from the fans the usher that was by us calls this lady, but I thought he was pointing at me, so I'm like, who? Me? So he's like, no the lady behind. It turns out she had a really cute blown up frog that she wanted to give Céline but she couldn't cause she wasn't in the floor level, so the usher offered to take it up for her, so she gave it to him. Then after that I guess he felt bad for me and came back and he called me to give him my poster so I ran down the aisle and I told him he didn't have to give it to Céline, cause he could also give it to Élise so I showed him the pic on the poster board and I told him she was the back-up singer and she was on the other side of the stage, so he said he'd see what he could do. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to give it to her, so when Céline finished singing MHWGO I ran down the aisle, called the usher and asked him if I could take it to her, so he said yeah hurry up, so I jumped that little fence thingy to get to the floor leverl and I ran to the other side by where they were coming off-stage and I took some more pics, although I think they'll come out all shaky cause I was like trembling. Then Céline was coming over to me, AAAAAHHHHH, she looked BEAUTIFUL, better than I've ever seen her look before, and a few steps after her, Élise and Julie were talking so I interrupted them and I go, Élise, here, for you. She goes, oh thanks, I saw it before over there, and I'm like yeah I know you waved, cool. She has such a cute french accent, I'd never noticed before. SO then I was like " " I went blank hehehe. I said Hi to Julie and to Yves (they all look a lot better up close, at least they did tonight, Élise looked incredible and Julie did too, she even smiled and said Hi to me too when I went up to Élise). So then she tried to open the poster and see what it said, but like I kind of stopped her and I asked her if we could take a pic together, so she said yeah sure, so I gave my camera to Yves, but Michel (Céline's brother) ended up taking the pic. Élise goes to him yeah, take a picture (in french) it was so cute. SO then as we possed (all I could think about was "oh my god, I'm here posing for a pic with Elise aaahhh I'm so lucky") and Michel put the camera to his eye, I saw him make a weird noise as if like this isn't working, and I realized that the zoom was out and that's probably why he couldn't see, AAAAAAAHHHHHH *dies* I was like, aaaaaahhhh, but I wasn't gonna ask him to take another one cause like he was rushing everyone to go and I was like, ok well thank you. So I just said good bye and left. Now I know that pic won't come out and it was going to be perfect. L Oh well….something always has to go wrong…so there's my "little" story.

Cara's Story

This is from the Columbus Ohio concert on Monday, September 27, 1999. Ok everything about that concert was awesome but for this page, I'll just stick to the parts about Élise! First of all, I was sitting front row center on the floor, and on the part where the band sits around Céline in a circle, Élise was facing me exactly where I was at the front of the stage! So I waved and smiled at her and she waved and smiled back and then through that whole part, when she wasn't singing, she was looking at me and making these tiny cute smiles and scrunching up her nose and doing tiny litte waves with her hand at me it was so cool! So then we started like making faces at eachother and she laughed once! I was just about to faint! I just have to add this part also...at the end when My Heart Will Go On started, Élise walked around the stage playing the tin whistle and she was AMAZING!!!!!!! I got some really good pictures of her too! Ok then when MHWGO was over, Céline was going around the stage taking bows and stuff and Élise came to the front right where I was, so she could pick up all the things people set on the stage for Céline, and no one else was around, so I went right up to the stage and yelled "Élise!!" twice and she looked down and I handed her a letter I had brought for her and said "This is for you, it's for you!" (I was in a panic trying to make sure she knew it was for HER.) She said "Oh thank you honey!" and I reached my hand up and she shook it!! Then everyone started coming down the stairs of the stage and I actually got held back by a guard until Céline passed but once she did, he let me go and I went up to Élise again and said "Hi Élise!" and she turned around and said something like "Oh hi again!" and I blurted out the first thing that came to my mind which was "I love you, you're an amazing singer!" (I probably sounded so stupid) but she was really nice and said "Oh thank you, and thanx for this (and she held up the letter) I really appreciate it, and I love you too, thanx for coming out tonight!" Then I was like totally fainting and I said something like "Thanx for all your hard work" or something equally stupid but she took my hand in hers and she said "Thank YOU for coming, you're wonderful, we'll see you again REAL soon ok?" I don't know what that meant, and she said real like "REAL" but I just smiled and said "YEAH! OK!" and she said "Bye bye" and I said "Bye" and then she turned around and left. *sob* But it was SO awesome, I can't even believe how nice and sweet she is! And she has an accent too! I did notice that but she speaks REALLY good English though. And her hands were freezing by the way. hehe But mine probably were too so it didn't matter. And she's SOOOOOOOOOOO Pretty! You don't even notice how pretty she is until you see her up close in person! So anyway that's my story. I wish I would have had more film in my camera, I would have asked her if I could take a picure of her but I had already run out but I still got some good concert ones! ~Cara

Lolo's Story ;P

We got to the concert at about 6:00 p.m. The Céline concert started at 8 p.m. with Keali'i Reichel being Céline's opening act. My friends and I got there early, cause well I hate traffic and the traffic in Hawaii bites, big time! Plus, we wanted to cruise around Pearl Ridge, the mall which is not far from Aloha Stadium. So we stuck around and my friend who works for the Stadium let us walk around with him so we got to hehehehe meet Elise. My friends mobbed her big time...poor Elise. I guess I was the normal, shy one so I said Hi and talked to her for a while. I think my friends scared her...Anyway, she was in a rush so we couldn't like blab to her for hours, but she is totally nice and kewl. I think when Céline takes her break, Elise should definitely get a recording contract and get famous. She'd be "DA BOMB!" of corrs! ;)

Rona's Story

I met Elise September 6, 1999, outside the Hummingbird Centre in Toronto. I waited at the stage entrance from about 10 am to 6 pm, with my friend Melanie. (She's not really a Celine fan, but lost a bet with me and my prize was for her to come to take pictures, LOL) The only people I really wanted to meet that day were Celine and Elise, there's just something about Elise...I don't know, a little extra charisma on stage that has always made her my favourite backup singer :) So Melanie and I were waiting for hours, and the first person we met was Claude "Mego" Lemay. (I won't go into detail about the other people I met that day, but feel free to e-mail me if you want) Anyways, the only reason I mention him is because I didn't see him come in any kind of car, he just walked around the corner. Well, I was going crazy, telling Melanie that her band HAS to come on the bus, and she was telling me that maybe they just walk over, and of course that had me staring at every person that walked by. Well, we finally decided on a little corner that would enable us see people walking by, and the stage entrance. A few hours later, Celine's bus with the band pulls up. The first person off was Taro Hakase, and I talked to him a bit. Then, at the bus doors, I see a lady with red hair, back to me, wearing multi-coloured striped shorts and a white T-shirt. Now I just knew that it was Elise, but after waiting so long to meet her I couldn't believe that it was finally going to happen for real, and I couldn't get the nerve to go up to her. Luckily, Ryan (another fan that came with us) is a little more outgoing than me, and he approached her first and got a picture and autograph. Then it was my turn, and I asked her if I could have her autograph while passing her my FIY tourbook. She was so nice, smiling and kindly saying "sure", then she started saying "Oh my goodness, this is so old!" and she just kept looking through my tour book, going on about how old it was. I personally didn't think it was that old, it was only from Celine's last tour. However, seeing how impressed she was with how old it was, I mentioned to her that I had Celine's first album as well. It was actually more of a mumble cause I was so nervous, and it's just as well that she didn't hear me. So she continued flipping through the book with a smile on her face (the picture is on this site), and then she asked me where she should sign. I told her anywhere she wants, and she repeated "Anywhere I want". She then turned to the page where her picture was, pointed at the picture and laughed, and asked me what my name was. I said Rona, and she made a "To R" and then looked at me for the spelling. I was so excited that she was going to personalize it, so I continued with "O-N-A", but again I was so nervous she couldn't make it out, I had to repeat it 3 times before she finally understood me. Then she signed her full name which I totally wasn't expecting, with little x's at the bottom just like Celine :) I was going to take the programme after, but I guess she saw how smudged I got everyone else's autographs and she purposely held it away from me and started blowing on it to dry. I didn't know what to do, I was just so shocked at standing near her I could do nothing but just watch her, and then I asked her if I could have a picture with her. Again she said sure, and I took the programme, and I almost dropped it cause I was shaking so bad and she quickly caught it for me :) Anyways, the whole time while I was waiting for the picture she was rubbing my back, Melanie was having some problems with the camera so it was taking a while, but I didn't mind :) So finally the picture got taken, and Elise left, and that's my story :) The whole thing probably lasted only 30 seconds, but she was so sweet she left a great impression on me :)

Renée's Story

It was after the concert and I was waiting for my brother outside of the concert room in Caesers with some other celine fans I met at the concert then Elise and Julie came out there...they seem to be really good friends with eachother...and they seemed really excited...I guess cuz they were in Atlantic City..pretty exciting place...so anyways they were really really sweet....Julie was more quiet and Elise talked more and she was sooooo sweet!!! Okay first she was giving autographs so I asked her to sign this poster I had with me and it was really really big and it had A LOT of pics of Celine on there...so she was lookin at the poster and she was like, "Celine Celine Celine Celine" LOL it was really funny at the moment...anyways then after I took a pic with her and Julie all together..they wanted to stay with us and all but at the same time they were kind of in a rush...so the whole thing wasn't really that long..they looked like they were ready to have a good time
