My Writing...

So what's this about my writing, huh? Well, among many other things I like to think that I do well...writing is an immense part of my life. I write whatever I can...from poems, to essays, to haikus. Here, I'll try and write out some of my favorite stuff that I've written throughout my life.

One of my most recent poems I wrote for my friends.

With A Little Help

My life is a string of problems...
and when I've finally reached the ends.
I turn around and look to see...
they're solved because of my friends

I wrote this poem in 3 minutes and put it on an away message...but it is "his" favorite poem yet. So this is for "him" <3<3<3

Erased

Groggily she stammers off to her bed
Thoughts of dreams, haunted by her nightmares instead.
And what is this thought that put a smile on her face?
It is him that will make all her bad dreams erase.

I wrote this after a really bad break up with someone that I cared deeply for.

How?

How quickly my life was filled with "love"
blessed by you and heaven above

How quickly my life could turn around
when where love was once, could no longer be found

How quickly my heart was made of steel
when "love" from you was all I could feel

How quickly my heart of steel could break
leaving only me to feel the heartache

How whole my life seemed to be
your "love" so bright, but seen only by me.

How quickly you left me
and yet i sweep
the pieces of my heart you cared not to keep.

I just recently wrote this poem. It is for a friend in his quest for love.

I wish i were a fisherman
A master of the sea
You see, everytime I cast my line, my bait comes back to me.
I know it isn't easy,
casting your heart and hopes as bait
But knowing theres so many fish out there
What can you do but wait?
