Introduction

This project began as an attempt at compiling information on the Clintons and their Adminstration with the intent of writing a book about the experience of collecting such data from the remote site of Alice, Texas using conventional methods such as books and television and adding the medium of Internet .

Writers who hermit themselves to immerse into a book project have a luxury that I do not have and do not want. I like being "my children's mother"(thank you Dr. Laura), but I know that I have a voice in our Democracy and a small talent for word usage and I would like to attempt to convey my ideas to begin a dialog with those who agree as well as with those who may disagree with me on what will be the short and long term affects of the Clinton Administrations.

Because I am a SOCCER MOM to three wonderful and talented children and a SOCCER WIFE to an equally wonderful husband, I set feasible parameters for this project that we could all live with.

I opted to use one hour per day for the collection of data via the Internet. I opted to watch only news television programs. My morning begins at 6:00am with the Newspaper Round Table Discussions on C-SPAN1 while I dressed and prepared for my day. My evenings end with Fox's Hannity and Colmes, The Crier Report and Brit Hume's Special Report (the second viewing). If dinner, homework and chores allowed, I added Fox's The O'Reilly Factor. After television and before sleep, I set aside at least one hour for reading through a list of books I determined would be credible. This list continually grows!

I have kept to this schedule for the past year and a half.

I have a television in my bedroom and my family has been very greatful that I have not interfered with their viewing preferences. For the most part, they have each expressed that they recognize that I have a definite passion for the task and that they are proud that I being so diligent.

I have collected enough data and have formed enough opinions to catalog it in book form. Inspired by Matt Drudge, who has created a new niche within the journalistic community by actually offering information on his web site for the sake of the dissimination of ideas without regard for the monetary value of the task, I am opting to offer my "book" as a web page.

The project will be ongoing and evolutionary. Chapters will be available as I write them.
