| This was the first of the Rayearth costumes that we found dominantly in the stores...the jacket and skirt were a coincedence beyond belief, so we went ahead and decided to do a Rayearth group based on this. Fuu's costume required next to no work to complete, except for some minor embroidery removal on the skirt and finding a pair of shoes. The whole costume was bought that day, except for the wig, glasses, and headband. The wig was found at an online costume store, and the headband at Wal-mart, along with a cheap pair of reading glasses. The ribbon was the only thing actually sewn on this costume, and that consisted of sewing it onto the blouse so that it wouldn't fall off. This is one costume that made my seamstressing work a lot easier! Total cost: About 25.00 including the wig! Time Spent: About 3 minutes not including finding stuff! |
