| FAQ: Q: Will you make me a wig of _______? A: Yes, give me a couple of reference pics, and I will send you a quote. Q: Can I get it cheaper? A: No. If you want cheap work, go to SetsunaKou who mass-produces her items and can afford to cut pricing. I work alone in my spare time, and don't have any motivation to work for slave wages. Q: Can you make me a costume? A: Yes, give me a couple of reference pics, and I will send you a quote. Q: Why are your prices so high? A: I charge a median rate, meaning I am not as expensive as some costumers, but more expensive than others. I use high quality materials, not cheaper alternatives, and the costumes I make are durable enough to last several years. I charge what my skills are worth multiplied by the time it takes. If you are really concerned with the prices, you are always welcome to learn to sew. Q: How did you make ________ costume? A: On every page, there is a basic layout of what went into the costume. I'll be happy to explain some daunting technique more clearly, but I will not give you step-by-step instructions of how to make the whole thing. Q: Can I pay in installments? A: No, because a custom costume is just that. It is made for you. If you decide you don't want it, I can hardly cover materials costs by trying to resale it. Q: What if I am not happy with my costume? (Fit, color, etc) A: This one is complicated. The costume colors will be appoved by the buyer before any work is began, either by photo or by mailing a sample to you. The circumstances I cannot be held accountable for are: unexpected growth spurts, excessive weight gain/loss, changing the recipient or wearer after construction begins. If these are not the reasons, if there are some fitting adjustments to be done, please have someone pin the costume in the way it needs to be adjusted and send it back to me for changes. You only need to cover the shipping costs from yourself to me, and only send the piece back that needs adjustment. |
