| Aeris Gainsborough | Aeris was very fun to make, though the accessories and the hair did give me a lot of trouble at first! I actually used my own hair for this costume, though fighting waist length hair to make it stand up 3-4" is an interesting experience, it felt a lot better than another wig. The jacket was found as a part of a courduroy suit (O_O!!) and the dress was also purchased. Both were altered beyond recognition. The wrist cuffs are made from plumber's pipe, and the bangles are crafters' foam covered with epoxy and painted silver. The hair is done with hairspray, a blow-dryer and a curling iron...and patience! Hopefully I will have better pics up soon, but for now this is all we got!
