the semester is really, really almost over. like, really. so. lots to do. sigh. well, i shouldn't sigh at all, really--most of what is happening is fun. except for the 3,667 final papers and exams that i must finish and pass. as if the world really needs another lame paper on chaucer. feh. i leave america on may 20th.
tomorrow i've got to hand a paper in on the controversy around the book The Wind Done Gone. i'm supposed to have lunch with leah, and in the evening, my newspaper's taking the staff to one of the snazzier chapel hill restaurants (top of the hill) for an all-expenses paid dinner. mmm!
thursday.. i don't think i'm doing anything special thursday. although nbc's touting a fabulous tv-cross over between e.r. and third watch. if they could just work in cbs' c.s.i. and then buffy'd come in and save the day. hee. that'd be the ultimate cross-over for me. heh.
friday i'm probably doing a photo-shoot (how stupid does that sound?) of one of my classmates, paul. i don't know paul very well, but he has a fun energy around him. that, and a really scary gunshot wound on his chest. not sure if he's up for the scar to be on picture, but, shrug, oh well. we'll see.
and i hope to hang out with angela. and marla is supposed to drive us to virginia so we can go to the society for professional journalism banquet and pick up our award for best non-daily student newspaper in region two.
and blah blah blah blah. i could keep talking about my future schedule, but i've already got a grocery-list vibe to this so.. i won't. suffice to say, i'll be a bit erratic with the online updates for the coming week. i'm trying to save oomph for my move back to somabish.org. wee! :)
