okay.. so i skipped advanced grammar class but met my professor who agreed - i seemed too miserable to go.. second class was cancelled.. and i cancelled the rest of my day. a friend from the office took me to barnes and noble where i bought bill maher's book "true story" on sale, and the new tori cd (you know i wouldn't be able to NOT get it.. the poor sales guy had to look through all his copies so i could get the 'right' cover.. after he found it he said: 'you know, the booklet has ALL the pictures inside.." .. well, what's the point of releasing the same cd with 4 different covers if i don't get to pick the one i want?)..

we got hot chocolates and went back to the office. i've had a breather for ten minutes to do what all "i have a totaly minor illness" people do - do a check list of all things currently wrong (runny nose, sneezing, my teeth ache, dense pressure between by eyes [guess from what!], achey left eye (like the actual socket), and *drum roll* time for my period.) .. heh.

so without further ado (or whining, honest) - cin cin! (insert that horrible wheezing noise of somebody trying to kepe their nose from dripping) .. ha ha ha.. obviously i take a weird pleasure out of grossing people out. later. 12:25 p.m.

if you were on e-mail terms with me, you might feel as lucky as i'm sure gene feels when he gets e-mails like this:

"before i say anything, let me say this: i've got a monster phlegm cold that makes me want to find some drugs and o.d. on. last night i could barely sleep because when i lay down i'd be too phlegmy. i HATE HATE that.. and this morning i had to try and "clean" it out.. yuck. i prolly look as miserable as i feel, ha ha ha.

one of my eyes is all swollen and throbbing. i'm miserable! and i've got 5 classes to make it through. boo! oh well.

i keep listening to tori singing "imagine" .. hey, this is a weird song. i mean, beautiful, but weird because so many ppl love it, yet the lyrics don't quite work if you're religious and patriotic, do they?

imagine there's no heaven (or hell for that matter)
imagine there's no country to kill or die for
no religion too
living life in peace

i mean really.. it's a beautiful song, but it baffles me that so many ppl who i know definitely don't agree with the sentiment of it love it. like, is the lyric context overlooked so ppl can sing along with the pretty parts? the yuu-huuu's? i dunno. it's pretty, though, and tori does it wonderfully. sigh.

so i watched "the gift" with angela yesterday. eh, it was so/so, but keanu did a great job as mean-ass, and cate blanchett was good but her character wasn't well written enough, and giovanni ribeisi's subplot was MUCH more intense and interesting than the main plot. and i did not buy kate 'joey' as a slut old enough to marry greg kinnear. ugh. bleh.

great. advanced grammar. boo!"

heh. i can't decide if i'll show up late for advanced grammar class or go try vomit. such an appealing morning, yes? 8:08 a.m.
