i saw a quote in an online advertisement for some dating service. the quote is supposedly somebody's description (i'd think a woman's):
"Why you should get to know me: I look really pretty when I cry."
hahaha! that's just so.. blergh. (i'm so articulate) for the record, i don't look pretty at all when i cry, there's a lot of snot and red face going on. (did you know it's not really snot, it's tears that overflow that comes out? i have no idea where i picked that up, probably my friend and her kid's medical books) .. and i don't get it, why would you attract somebody with the promise of looking pretty when you cry?
i would assume it has appeal to all the men who would like to be the manly man with a shoulder for this pretty, crying lady to rest her head on and weep on. pfft. i guess next on my self-improvement list should be to stop caring about ridiculous manipulative statements that really have no effect on me in reality. yeah yeah. whatever. hee hee.
"i know i'm fugly right now, but just insult me a bit and i'll weep and look much better!" .. stupid if you ask me. not that you did, but, well, whatever. she is probably 'really beautiful when she's angry' too, heh.
