went to small island with my mom and a pic-nic basket. hid under some trees and snacked and slept for some hours with a towel over my face because i tend to end up looking like a cooked lobster if i'm in the sun too much. went into town with said mother by way of riverboat. highly exciting. tried to pull off water lilies for keeps. obviously didn't work since everyone was indeed telling the truth when they said water lilies have roots about as easy to break off as steel wires. ate pizza. discovered my arms are oddly pink and splotchy from the sun peeking through the tree crowns. hooray.
i am lobster girl, hear me .. uh .. squeak like a live lobster thrown into boiling water?
