| The University of Virginia | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The above picture is of one of the many tags left by the secret society, the Z's at the University of Virginia. This was the first college I attended and it was AWESOME! But, alas, their music program wasn't performance-based which is what I really want in my college education. They do, however, have an amazing orginaztion on campus called the First Year Players, with which I was able to perform two shows: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Victor, Victoria. Check out my Arts page for more info on shows I've been in. UVa is located in Charlottesville, VA and was founded by the ever-present Thomas Jefferson. (We were given nickles and two dollar bills the first day of school.) It's even rumored that Dr. Suess' book The Grinch Who Stole Christmas is written about UVa because of such references as Hooville. (The Wahoo is UVa's unofficial mascot; it's a fish that can drink half of it's weight. Analyze as you will.) |

| The University of Denver: The Lamont School of Music | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The University of Denver's Lamont School of Music was my second college. This school rocks, and the location is fabulous. To the West one sees gorgeous mountains, and to the East one sees the fabulous skyline of downtown Denver. The music program is amazing, but, unfortunately does not intigrate theatre and dance enough with music, which is what (I sure hope) I want. The teachers at Lamont rock, they are all incredibly intelligent and know exactly what they're teaching about. The jazz vocal and opera departments are fabulous. With the opera department I performed in the show Li'l Abner, so that was a lot of fun. I also performed with the vocal reportore class. For examples of my singing, check out the Arts page. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Kutztown University of Pennsylvania | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I'm pretty sure I'm finishing up my undergradtuate career at Kutztown University in Pennsylvania. So far, I'm really digging it. The professors rock, and I'm able to really be involved in everything I enjoy. I'm in Bear Voices, After Hours, Chamber Singers, University Choir, Chemistry Club, and I'm involved in theatre happenings on campus. I recently had a tremendous amount of fun in the show Lucky Stiff which went really well. I actually got an Irene Ryan Award nomination out of it, so that rocks the house big time. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
